Samtec Cares suspended its normal grant cycle and concentrated funding efforts directly related to COVID relief and granted over $200,000 to the following nonprofit organizations to assist in fulfilling their missions.

Baptist Floyd Foundation

Their grant will be used to support Baptist Health Floyd employees and patients during the pandemic.

Catholic Charities of Louisville

Their grant will be used toward the increase they have seen in the number of clients that they are supporting during the crisis.

Dare to Care

Their funding will support of their Feeding Families outreach in Clark, Floyd, Harrison and Washington counties and purchase fresh produce and non-perishable foods.

Floyd County Health Department

Their grant will be used toward the purchase a Mobile COVID Testing Unit to broaden their capacity to offer offsite testing for COVID19.

Lee Initiative

Their grant is in support of their Southern Indiana Hospitality worker relief fund to assist restaurant workers in need.

Lifespan

Their grant will be used to purchase much needed supplies.

Maker13

Their grant will be used to manufacture over 20,000 face shields to be given for free to frontline health care workers in our local community.

Norton Healthcare Foundation

Their grant will assist in supporting their COVID Relief efforts in the community including antibody testing and expanded patient testing.

Red Cross

Their grant will support the Southern Indiana Disaster Relief Fund helping people in our community when they need it the most.

Salvation Army

Their grant will go toward supporting and aiding the increase in clients in need.

St. Vincent de Paul

Their grant will be used to help with the increase in clients that they see at their facility in need of food and shelter during the crisis.

Their grant will go toward assisting live music venues, employees, and artists who have been tremendously affected by the pandemic.
